Of the two there are major differences in the way that the radio works. The FTdx10 is a Hybrid radio utilizing Roofing Filters and conversion whereas the FT-710, more like the ICOM IC-7300 is a true, straight, SDR radio.. Another difference is the FTdx-10 has CW Decode whereas the FT-710 is missing that feature, if you use it.. Proctor
